辛郁诗集
To My son(给儿子)

I am waiting in a bleak night
When the motorcycle roars from far to near
      Naturally I become relaxed
Then there comes an indifferent stare at me
      (My dear,have you noticed
The rippling of my grey hair
      On the head)

      Hair falls silently
But what makes me startle dis
The fact that you've grown taller and stronger
And that your naivety is no more
My dear the brands of life
Have already encroached the plain of your heart

By following such a one-way traffic
Will the train of time carry me far away? No
I have made ready my hunting suit and a walking-stick
      Though my hair turns grey
I'll preceed with another journey to conquer the rugged mountains
